Advertising ashtray - Martini and Rossi

Vintage Italian Martini Rossi advertising ashtray. The triangular shape features the slogan "The aperitif with the RED mustache" and an image of a red mustache on each of the three sides. It was produced in Italy in the 1970s by Ceramiche E. Piola of Carpignano Sesia. Marked on the bottom: "Ceramiche E. Piola Carpignano S.A." Made in Italy.

Martini is an Italian vermouth brand, named after the Martini & Rossi Distilleria Nazionale di Spirito di Vino in Turin. The brand also lent its name to the American vermouth and gin cocktail Martini.
